Türkiye intends to maintain neutrality amid Middle East conflict

The Turkish presidential administration had previously emphasized its lack of intention to join the ongoing armed confrontation involving Iran.
"We will keep our country out of the fire pit",
Erdoğan stated.
Hostilities in the Middle East began on February 28 and has significantly heightened regional security threats over the past month.
Türkiye's primary goal is to navigate this difficult period successfully, Erdoğan stressed.
According to Erdoğan, the country's leadership is acting with maximum caution, restraint, and rationality to prevent any steps that could draw Türkiye into a conflict that is not its own.
