Wind farm to be built in Georgia's Imereti region

A new wind farm with a total capacity of 224 MW will be built in western Georgia near the village of Gogni, according to the BMG media platform.

The facility will be located on a mountain ridge and will consist of 28 wind turbines, each with a capacity of up to 8 MW. The wind farm is expected to generate between 602 and 668 million kWh annually.

The project will be carried out by Gogni Wind Company. The construction permit for the new green energy facility was issued by Georgia's Department of Environmental Supervision
