Stavropol authorities to fight poverty

The authorities of the Stavropol Territory are planning to reduce the number of people living in poverty by 3% by 2020,and achieve the national average of 15%,  Governor Valery Gajewski said today, Yuga.ru reports.

Gajewski said that by 2015 the number of people living below the poverty line is expected to amount to 15.3%.

According to statistics, the region is home to about 2.7 million people.
