Russian aluminum shipped to Armenia via Azerbaijan for first time

Today, another shipment from Russia to Armenia was dispatched in transit through Azerbaijan.

This time, the shipment consisted of 2 railcars of aluminum and 9 railcars of grain. The railcars departed from the Bilajari station.

On October, 2025, Azerbaijan has lifted all restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia that had existed since the time of occupation. The first such transit cargo was a shipment of Kazakh grain to Armenia.
