First commercial supercomputer launched in Armenia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaArmenia has launched its first commercial supercomputer at a ceremony held in the country's northern Gegharkunik region.
The data center is located in the village of Gagarin, where the average annual temperature is just 6 degrees Celsius — a factor that helps reduce server cooling costs.
The supercomputer is powered by several hundred next-generation Nvidia graphics processors.
Approximately $70 million has been invested in the project.
