Armenia has launched its first commercial supercomputer at a ceremony held in the country's northern Gegharkunik region.

The data center is located in the village of Gagarin, where the average annual temperature is just 6 degrees Celsius — a factor that helps reduce server cooling costs.

The supercomputer is powered by several hundred next-generation Nvidia graphics processors.

Approximately $70 million has been invested in the project.
