Peskov comments on possible Putin-Trump meeting this summer

A meeting between the Russian and US presidents may take place in the summer of 2026. According to Dmitry Peskov, the chances stand at roughly 50-50.

"Theoretically, it's 50%: either it will happen or it won't",

Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti on the sidelines of the 2026 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

He was responding to a direct question about the possibility of a summit between the two heads of state.

Last summer, Putin and Trump held a meeting in Alaska
