Belarusian club to play home matches in European competitions in Azerbaijan

Belarusian football club BATE will host its European competition home matches in Azerbaijan, the club's press service announced.

BATE has agreed to play its home games at the Mehdi Huseynzade Stadium in Sumgait.

The draw for the first round of the Conference League is scheduled for June 16, with the matches to be played on July 9 and July 16.

BATE qualified for European competition by winning the Belarusian Cup, defeating Dinamo Minsk in the final.
