Azerbaijan and Iran discuss cooperation in trade and transport

Baku and Tehran have held talks on expanding economic cooperation, with a focus on trade, investment, and transport, during a meeting between Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Iranian Deputy Economy Minister Mehdi Heitari.

The two sides addressed current bilateral issues and agreed to strengthen business ties.

In early June, Baku and Tehran reached an agreement on sharing water resources from the Araz River.
