Armenia and Russia to form joint military enterprises

Russia and Armenia will form joint enterprises to repair and maintain military equipment, Armenian Deputy Defense Minister David Tonoyan said, RIA Novosti reports.

Service centers will open in Armenia. They will work with armored vehicles, anti-missile systems, Russian helicopters, UAZ vehicles. A joint venture KAMAZ-Armenia is servicing military trucks.

There are also negotiations to allow some Armenian enterprises to join the Russian-Belarusian financial-industrial group “Defense Systems”.
