Turkey says Cyprus is avoiding direct talks

Turkey is trying to settle the conflict with Greek Cyprus, but the island's authorities are avoiding direct talks, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, addressing a meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), TRT reports on Wednesday.

Erdogan also said that international watchdogs shut their eyes to such violations of international law.
