Germany appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

Dirk Lölke has been appointed Germany's new ambassador to Azerbaijan, the German Foreign Ministry has announced.

Lelke is expected to take up his duties at the end of this month, APA reported.

He replaces Ralf Hörlemann, who left his post in Baku in June.

Lölke previously served as head of the German Embassy in Oman.
