Bank of Armenia to issue new banknote

The Central Bank of Armenia will issue a new banknote with a face value of 1000 drams, News-Armenia reported on Thursday.

According to the press release, the banknote will be almost similar to that issued in 2001, save for some "insignificant changes" in its design.
