Gold price tops 4,200 dollars for first time since July 6

Gold futures for December delivery on the Comex exchange surpassed $4,200 per troy ounce today, hitting their highest level since July 6, 2026, market data shows.

As of 8:24 a.m. Moscow time (05:24 a.m. GMT), gold prices rose 1.15% to $4,200.4 per troy ounce.

By 8:31 a.m. Moscow time (05:31 a.m. GMT), the futures price accelerated, pushing the contract further up to $4,201.9 per ounce, a 1.19% gain.
