Head of Vatican diplomacy to visit Russia before end of summer

The Vatican's Secretary for Relations with States, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, is planning to visit Moscow at the end of August, a well-informed Vatican source told TASS.

"A visit to Moscow by Secretary for Relations with States, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, is being planned for August 20th",

the source said.

The source did not specify what issues Gallagher intends to discuss in the Russian capital.

His previous visit to Moscow took place in November 2021.
