Tehran and Muscat agree on Hormuz deal - media

Iran and Oman have finalised the content of an agreement to ensure shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, IRNA reported, citing sources.

A spokesman for the Iranian parliament's National Security Committee said the general framework of the deal had been determined.

"The general framework of the agreement (between Iran and Oman – the editor's note) has been determined",

the source said.

The official added that the full text and finer details would be released to the public shortly.
