Georgian airports set historic record

A record number of takeoffs and landings were registered at Georgian airports on Sunday, August 9, according to Georgian media.

The country's airports handled a total of 306 flights on that day, surpassing the previous record of 292 flights set on July 26 by 4.8%.

According to EUROCONTROL, six new records were set in Europe last week, one of them at Georgian airports
