US-Iran closed-door talks continue - Ambassador

Iran and the USA are holding closed-door diplomatic consultations with mediators, and the process is ongoing virtually without interruption, Pakistani Ambassador to Moscow Faisal Niaz Tirmizi has said.

Settlement talks are taking place "right now," and progress is already being made, he said.

TASS reported that the ambassador declined to comment on whether the meetings are being held in Islamabad.

"This is not public information, but the mediators are working on it",

Tirmizi said.
