Man injured in mine explosion in Kalbajar district

Another mine incident has occurred in Azerbaijan's liberated Kalbajar district, leaving a man born in 1953 injured, authorities reported.

The victim, a resident of Gaynag village in Tartar district, was hurt while grazing cattle in an area not yet cleared of explosives, according to a joint statement from the Interior Ministry, Prosecutor General's Office, and the Mine Action Agency.

The Kalbajar District Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the incident.
