Oil transit via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan falls 8,5 percent

Oil exports through the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline fell by 8.5% in the first seven months of 2026, with 14.7 million tonnes transported, according to State Statistics Committee data.

The BTC accounted for nearly 77% of total oil exports. Azerbaijani oil made up just over 82% of the volume, while the rest of the volume came from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

Shipments of Azerbaijani oil through the pipeline dropped by 10%.
