Azerbaijan's sugar and confectionery exports surge 2,5 fold

Azerbaijan's exports of sugar and confectionery products increased 2.5‑fold in the first seven months of 2026, reaching $81.3 million, the State Customs Committee reported.

This is $49.5 million more than in the same period last year.

Imports of sugar and sugar‑based confectionery also rose, increasing by 10.4% year‑on‑year to $166.7 million.
