Khloponin: thousand militants left in North Caucasus

There are up to thousand of thugs and terrorists in all the republics of North Caucasus Federal District, President's Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, Alexander Khloponin said today, ITAR-TASS reports.

Khloponin noted that the gangs are funded mainly from within the country.
