Omani authorities don't take Trump's threats seriously - media

a source said.
According to US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, sanctions against Oman were possible due to its cooperation with Iran, as Washington fears Muscat is negotiating transit fees with Tehran. Trump had earlier warned that the US could strike Oman over the talks.
