Baku and Ashgabat expand defence and economic cooperation

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a series of decrees to expand cooperation with Turkmenistan across several sectors.

The documents cover defence cooperation, energy collaboration, customs co‑operation, and food security.

The new framework aims to deepen bilateral ties between Baku and Ashgabat.
