12 countries condemn Israeli strikes on Syrian airbase
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTwelve countries, including Türkiye, have issued a joint statement strongly condemning Israeli airstrikes on the Abu al‑Duhur airbase in northwestern Syria.
The statement, signed by the foreign ministers of Türkiye, Algeria, Indonesia, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mauritania, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Somalia, described the strikes as an "extreme escalation" and a "flagrant violation" of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The ministers expressed deep concern over the attacks, which they said could undermine efforts to restore security in the country, and called on the international community to take a firm and principled stance in line with international law and the UN Charter.
