Russian wheat and propane to be shipped to Armenia via Azerbaijan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAnother freight train carrying Russian cargo will depart from Azerbaijan for Armenia, carrying wheat and propane.
The train includes nine cars with 630 tonnes of wheat and one car with 36 tonnes of propane. It will leave Bilajari station en route to Boyuk Kesik station in Azerbaijan's Aghstafa district.
To date, over 49,000 tonnes of grain, around 9,000 tonnes of fertiliser, 1,136 tonnes of propane, 133 tonnes of aluminium, 1,114 tonnes of coal, and 67 tonnes of timber have been shipped from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan has also directly exported around 15,000 tonnes of diesel fuel to Armenia, along with approximately 5,000 tonnes of AI‑92 and AI‑95 petrol.
