Kremlin announces possible Putin-Trump meeting

The presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, will inevitably talk to each other at the APEC summit in China in November, if both are there, Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov said.

"There is still so much time before the APEC summit. But if the leaders are at the same event, then I believe that they will inevitably meet and talk," Ushakov told Vesti.

According to him, there are no signals or hints in this regard yet as the summit is still three months away.

"It’s a long way off. We still have many major international events ahead of it [APEC summit]," Ushakov said.
