Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan sign Treaty on Eternal Friendship
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAzerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Treaty on Eternal Friendship between the two countries in Tashkent on Sunday, according to the press service of the Uzbek president.
The two sides signed and exchanged a range of documents, including a program to boost bilateral trade to $1 billion by 2030, an action plan to implement trade and investment agreements, and a cooperation program between their respective foreign ministries for 2027-2028.
At the invitation of Mirziyoyev, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is paying a state visit to Uzbekistan on August 23-24.
