Azerbaijan increases cotton exports by 30 percent

Azerbaijan's cotton exports rose by 27.5% in the first seven months of the year, with nearly 100,000 tonnes of cotton fibre exported worth over $137 million, the State Statistics Committee reported.

Cotton yarn exports nearly doubled to about 14,000 tonnes valued at approximately $30 million.

Cotton fibre accounted for 0.71% of Azerbaijan's total exports.
