Earthquake hits Azerbaijan's Jalilabad District

An earthquake struck the Jalilabad region in south‑eastern Azerbaijan on Wednesday, the Earthquake Research Bureau reported.

The seismic event was recorded 14 kilometres south‑west of Jalilabad station, with a hypocenter being at a depth of 26 kilometres.

The magnitude reached 3.1, but no tremors were felt on the surface.
