Naryshkin confirms meeting with CIA chief in Moscow

Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Sergey Naryshkin confirmed on Thursday that he had held a meeting with CIA chief John Ratcliffe when the former visited Moscow.

"The meeting did take place, and there is nothing unusual to it," Naryshkin said.

According to the SVR head, they had discussed unspecified matters falling within ​the remit of their respective intelligence ​services.
