Rockfall on Armenian-Georgian border, rescuers search for survivors

A major rockfall occured after part of a mountain broke off on the road between Tumanyan and Bagratashen, not far from the Noyemberyan-Bagratyan-Tumanyan crossroads. Some Georgian and Turkish trucks were crushed by the rockfall, News.am reports.

Rescuers have started searching this morning, complicated by rain. Three citizens are missing. More people may become missing. 8 people have been hospitalized to Noyemberyan and Alaverdy, one has a fracture, others have minor injuries.
