Two dead in Kizilyurt blast

A blast in Kizilyurt has killed an inquiry officer and a traffic police officer. One police officer was injured, RIA Dagestan reports.

Preliminary reports say that the blast was caused by a bomb on the roadway. It happened at the crossing of Maloguseynov and Shamil Streets. The bomb was equivalent to about 20 kg of TNT. The police denied information on a suicide bomber crashing into a police vehicle.
