Moscow hosts photo exhibition for 20th anniversary of Turkmen independence
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaMoscow is hosting an international photography exhibition entitled “A Many-faced Country” to mark the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, organized by magazine “Turkmenistan”, the community “Znaniye” of Russia and the State Polytechnical University, with support from the Turkmen Embassy. The exhibition will be held at the exhibition complex of the Polytechnical Museum on October 3-9, 2011.
The exhibition will give an image of Turkmen life. The magazine “Turkmenistan” has been publishing the best photos of Turkmenistan. At the same time the exhibition will be held in Ashkhabad and will move to other cities and countries. It is the first such major international exposition of best photographers.
100 photographs were collected on 80 clipboards. They were mainly selected for informativity and realism.
A special release of “Turkmenistan” magazine will round up the project and give a full view on the exposition.
Alexey Vlasov, Editor-in-Chief of Vestnik Kavkaza was invited to the opening.
