Oil transit through Strait of Hormuz restored - Trump

US President Donald Trump has announced that oil transit through the Strait of Hormuz has been fully restored, with volumes returning to 18 million barrels per day.

"Oil transit volumes through the Strait of Hormuz have been restored",

Trump said in a Truth Social post.

Before the US‑Iran conflict, around 20 million barrels per day passed through the strait.
