Witkoff praises recent talks in Moscow

U.S. presidential envoy Steve Witkoff wrote on X that his and U.S. president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner’s talks in Moscow have yielded "‘substantive progress" in the negotiating process on the Ukrainian settlement.

"Substantive progress was made, including movement on scheduling additional trilateral talks," Steve Witkoff said.

According to the U.S. presidential envoy, U.S. President Donald Trump is making every effort "towards a lasting and durable peace."

At Trump’s direction, the negotiators visited Moscow on September 5.
