Trump denies damage to US fighter jets at Jordan base

US President Donald Trump has dismissed media reports claiming that US Air Force assets at a base in Jordan were damaged in an Iranian strike.

"No damage, nothing",

Trump said, adding that the reports contained no factual information.

The US military command had earlier reported a strike on five Iranian tankers. In response, Iranian forces struck the US Al‑Azraq Air Base in Jordan.
