United Russia ahead in Duma election with over 90 percent of ballots processed - CEC

The United Russia party is ahead in the State Duma election with 57,86% of the vote, with 90,43% of ballots counted, data from the Russian Central Election Commission showed.

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation ranks second with 13.84% of the vote, and the Liberal Democratic Party ranks third with 8.9%.

New People is getting 7.94% of the vote, the CEC said, adding that A Just Russia gains 4.95% of the vote and ranks fifth in the race.
