Xi to pay state visit to US on September 23-25

China's leader Xi Jinping will visit the United States this week for talks with President U.S. Donald Trump, Beijing confirmed Monday.

Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the U.S. from September 23 to 25 at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Trump and Xi are also expected to meet in November at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum in Shenzhen, China.
