Ilham Aliyev pardons 15 Azerbaijani citizens and 5 foreigners

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the pardon of a number of convicted persons.

According to the press service of the President of Azerbaijan, two Turkish citizens and a Pakistani citizen were granted a pardon. Kirill Mikhailov, who holds both Russian and Israeli citizenship, was also pardoned.

In addition, a pardon was granted to French citizen Martin Ryan, who had been sentenced to 10 years in prison for espionage.
