Trump: Oil prices will fall once Iran conflict ends

US President Donald Trump says oil prices will drop to pre‑war levels once the US wins the conflict with Iran.

"In my view, we will very soon win this war. Once we win it, oil prices will fall — fall significantly — to pre-war levels",

Trump told Fox News.

According to Trump, the US has already achieved military victory but Washington will not stop there.

Oil prices rose on Monday, with Brent up over 2.8% and WTI up 1.85%, after falling on Friday.
