Two police officers killed in attack in southeastern Iran

Two law enforcement officers were killed when a police patrol came under attack in the Bampur district of Sistan and Baluchestan province in southeastern Iran.

Both officers were born in 2002.

Media reports say police vehicles in the region have previously come under fire, killing three officers. Baluchestan frequently appears in reports of shootings due to the activity of local separatist groups.
