Iran and US continue talks - MFA

Pakistan and Qatar continue their mediatory roles in the Iran-U.S. conflict, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said.

"Technically, countries such as Pakistan and Qatar continue to serve as intermediaries between Iran and the United States," Esmaeil Baghaei said.

The diplomat noted that Tehran and Washington continue to exchange communications. He said Iran is currently reviewing U.S. proposals concerning a seven-day plan to restore security in the Strait of Hormuz.
