Russia interested in further lease of Gabala radar

Russia is interested in further lease of the Gabala radar station situated in Azerbaijan, RIA Novosti cites Russia's Space Forces' Commander General Oleg Ostapenko as saying.

The agreement with Azerbaijan expires on December 24, 2012. Russia is now trying to prolong the agreement. The corresponding talks are soon expected to end.
