Israel destroys bunkers near Damascus

The Israeli military has destroyed bunkers and military installations on the slopes of Mount Hermon near Damascus, the Firat news agency reported.

The area had been under IDF control since December 2024. The bunkers were eliminated near the locality of Bekasem, with explosions heard in the suburbs of Qudsaya and Jdeidat Artouz.

On October 12, IDF units also destroyed abandoned Syrian Army barracks in Beit Jinn and Kidna.
