The Armenian National Congress has been holding 24/7 protests since September 30. It plans to renew talks with the Armenian government, Armenia Today reports.

The ANC believes that dialogue with the government may become an instrument for fulfilling the demands of the people and settlement of the conflict.

The Armenian authorities relayed information on October 3 that renewal of negotiations will be possible with the conclusion of protests. Such statements demonstrate undemocratic conditions and misunderstanding of the right to protest. It also shows the government's fear of the protesters on Freedom Square.

A transport blockade organized by the government, violating the Constitution, proves these points. The government is using methods of psychological pressure from the police against the population. The ANC says that any dialogue with the authorities is fruitless and the only way to resolve the situation is to mobilize the population.

The current dialogue was initiated by the Armenian National Congress, its renewal may only occur if the government wills it and sends a request. Such a request will be observed and decided on.
