Iran rapidly changing its defense doctrine

Iran’s defense doctrine is undergoing a rapid transformation, with the geography of threats no longer determining the geography of response, adviser to the Iranian supreme leader Mohammad Mokhber said.

"Iran's defense doctrine is rapidly evolving. Naturally, the geography of threats no longer determines the geography of response," Mohammad Mokhber said.

According to him, the redefinition of deterrence's scope has transcended the regional framework, and the origin, extent, and location of threats impose no limitations on Iran's deterrence calculations.
