Talks with US through intermediaries are ongoing intensively, Iran says

Iran’s foreign minister has confirmed that negotiations with the United States are ongoing. According to him, they are taking place intensively.

Iran is holding intensive talks with the United States through intermediaries, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on November 2.

He emphasized that the outcome of the discussions would depend on the decisions made by the American side.

"Consultations [with the US - ed] through intermediaries are very intensive. We have laid out our terms and proposals, and now everything depends on Washington’s political prudence,”

– the Iranian Minister said. 

The foreign minister added that Iran is prepared for both a military response and a diplomatic settlement of the conflict.
