CIS border guard commanders to meet in Armenia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaA meeting of the CIS countries' border guard commanders is going to take place in the Armenian town of Tsakhkadzor on October 7th, 2011, News-Armenia reports on Wednesday.
The meeting is organized in the framework of the CIS Council of border guards' commanders. The Council was established on July 6th, 1992 in order to enhance cooperation of the CIS countries in the sphere of defense.
The 66th meeting will be attended by representatives of 10 CIS countries - Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
The assembled military commanders are expected to discuss several issues and adopt the Council's agenda for 2012.
