Ingush president participates in farewell event of the first group of conscripts

Ingush President Yunus-Bek Yevkurov participated in the farewell event
of the first group of conscripts of 2010 of the republic, Yuga.ru
reports citing the presidential press-service. Over 400 Ingushetians
will fill Russian military ranks.

Yevkurov wished them luck and said: “Most importantly – serve well,
like men, do not shame your parents”.

“Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, representatives of the clergy,
local autonomy deputies and parents were invited. They talked about
regular service as an important and necessary stage in the life of
everyone, that it is necessary to represent their republic worthily”,
the press-service message said.

At the end of the meeting the president awarded every conscript with
the so-called ‘conscript kit’.
