Armenian team defeats Macedonia in Yerevan

The football team of Armenia has defeated Macedonia 4-1 in the penultimate match of the qualifying round of the European Championship at Yerevan's Republican Stadium.

As a result, Armenia has retained good chances for second place in the group and access to the play-offs for the final tournament of the 2012 European Championship in Poland and Ukraine. In order to come second Armenia will have to defeat the Irish team on October 12.
